Several Years experience as coordinator for EU funded projects within the 5th and 6th framework program. Employed as Account Quality Manager at AT&S China in Shanghai responsible for quality-assigned customer care of Sony, Motorola and Nokia within the Asian-Pacific region.
Now responsible for the general management of CogVis gmbh.
Ing. Johann Schiessel
Founder and director of Ing. Schiessel EDV-Vertriebs GmbH since 1993 and of CogVis gmbh. Long lasting experience in computing and data systems technology. Member of Bundesinnungsausschusses der Wiener Mechatroniker consortium of the Viennese Mechatronics Trade Association from 2000 to 2005 and since 1991 he is member of the commission for the examination for master craftmans certificate.

Founded CogVis GmbH to bring successful research results into market and to provide creative ideas and technology for product development. He received the B.Sc. in Data Technologies and Computer Science, the M.Sc. degree (Diplom Ingenieur) in Computer Science (Computer Graphics, Pattern Recognition & Image Processing), the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and the "venia docendi" (habilitation) in Applied Computer Science, all from the Vienna University of Technology

DI Jürgen Konetschnig
Jürgen completed his degrees at the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences, Health Care Information Technology, Klagenfurt, Austria. There he specialized in Life Science Technology and wrote his master thesis in cooperation with the School of Biomedical Sciences, University of Ulster, Northern Ireland and the Ludwig-Maximilians-University, Munich. In 2009, his Master's degree was awarded with distinction and he was granted a pre-doc research fellowship by the Max Planck Institute of Neurobiology, Munich. Jürgen is currently working as technical program manager at CogVis.
Thomas Pönitz
Thomas studies Computer Science (Media Informatics) at the Vienna University of Technology. He research interests are Content Based Image Retrieval and image sequence analysis. Thomas is working for CogVis gmbh as R & D Engineer.
